Guidelines

Southern Cross Academic Press

Southern Cross Academic Press is committed to providing a clear, transparent, and effective publication process. These guidelines are designed to assist authors in preparing and submitting their manuscripts for publication in journals indexed in globally recognized databases such as Google Scholar, RePEc, ResearchBib, and others.

1. Manuscript Submission and Originality

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other publisher at the time of submission.

  • Authors must ensure their work is unique and authentic.

  • Once an article is submitted and accepted for publication in our journals, it cannot be withdrawn or retracted by the author.

  • Manuscript changes after submission are permitted only in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

  • Submission of a manuscript implies the author's commitment to paying any applicable processing fees.

  • Withdrawal requests after acceptance will forfeit any advance payments made.

2. Preliminary Review and Formatting

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial review for compliance with submission guidelines and scientific quality.

  • Authors may be required to pay formatting or processing fees as per journal standards.

  • Our editorial team reserves the right to make necessary adjustments for formatting and style to meet journal requirements.

  • Researchers can contact the journal editorial office for clarifications or access to publication-related resources.

3. Author’s Assurance

Authors submitting to Southern Cross Academic Press guarantee that:

  • The work is original and authored by the stated contributors.

  • The manuscript has never been published previously.

  • The content contains no defamatory or unlawful material.

  • There is no infringement of privacy or intellectual property rights.

  • Proper permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material or personal data included.

4. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared carefully to meet scientific standards and facilitate smooth peer review.

Formatting Recommendations:

  • Use Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, with single line spacing.

  • Use A4 paper size with a 1-inch margin on all sides.

  • Paragraphs should be indented 5 to 7 spaces.

  • Page numbers should be included in the top margin.

  • Figures and tables should be centered, clearly numbered and cited in the text, and placed either within the manuscript or after the references as per journal format. Avoid text wrapping.

5. Manuscript Structure and Content

  • Title: Concise yet descriptive of the study and findings.

  • Abstract: Brief summary (1-2 sentences) that mirrors the manuscript’s structure.

  • Introduction: Outline the study purpose, hypothesis, objectives, and literature background to contextualize the research.

  • Materials and Methods: Provide sufficient detail to enable replication, including descriptions of procedures, instruments, data collection, and statistical analysis.

  • Results: Present data objectively using tables, graphs, and charts with clear captions and labels. Discuss limitations where relevant.

  • Conclusion: Summarize findings relative to study objectives, avoid introducing new data or broad generalizations. Discuss clinical or practical implications and align results with existing literature.

  • References: Follow the citation style recommended by the target journal, often consistent with the ICMJE Uniform Requirements.

6. Duplicate and Redundant Publication

  • Manuscripts must not be published elsewhere or submitted to predatory or low-quality journals.

  • Duplicate publication reduces research visibility and credibility, hindering scholarly communication.

7. Contact and Support

Authors seeking assistance with submissions, publication process, or requiring access to published articles can reach out via the journal’s official email.
